This keeps catching my eyes and ears. ITV’s coverage for the Brit Awards 2014 has created this dynamic, simplistic and edgy advert using only their Philip Treacy designed trophy. Fabulous.

The track is Dibby Dibby Sound by DJ Fresh & Jay Fay, featuring Ms Dynamite.

I came across these in a trendy little market in Brooklyn a few months ago. Subway system maps of huge cities all over the world, designed with the most minimalist approach. I can’t seem to find much info on the creators of these pieces. Only that there’s a graphic designer named Cayla and an engineer named John. They have a site and a shop where you can buy the posters or t-shirts on etsy. Mysterious folk, but nice work.

This is quite brilliant! Swiss designer and comedian Ursus Wehrli recently came out with a book called ‘The Art of Clean Up’. The book consists of before shots of everyday ordinary items, such as people, food and objects, followed by the after shot of his systematic ‘clean up’ of the item/s. The whole book is very amusing from the things he chooses to photograph to the way he deconstructs each of them. Very beautiful. You can buy the book online!
